Transportation FROM the Airport TO the Hyatt Regency Long Beach
Transportation from the airport (LAX, LGB, SNA) will be via our corporate Uber account. Follow these instructions carefully.
New users will receive an email from Uber with the subject line: Their Name, Join your team. The email will read as follows.
You’ve been invited to add a profile for Novacoast to your Uber account. By switching profiles, you’ll be able to easily charge eligible expenses to Novacoast. Please note that trip information will only be shared with Novacoast while using this profile, and you can switch back to your personal profile at any time.

From LAX
Once Novacoasters land at LAX, they should request their ride and proceed to the new LAX-IT (pronounced LA Exit) pick up area.
There are 2 ways to get to the LAX-IT pick up area:
LAX-IT is only a three-minute walk from Terminal 1, and about seven or eight minutes from Terminals 2, 7 and 8.
or
LAX-IT will be served by a dedicated, frequent shuttle system:
1. Shuttles will arrive every 3 to 5 minutes.
2. Each shuttle will stop at a maximum of two terminals.
3. The longest shuttle ride is expected to take 15 minutes at most – and it will be shorter from most terminals.
4. Shuttles will use a dedicated lane open only to LAWA-operated buses and shuttles – our own bus rapid transit system.
You should open the app when you arrive at LAX and follow instructions in the app regarding when to request your ride and how to find your driver.
From LGB
Collect your bags before requesting your car. Per LGB regulations, drivers can not wait if you’re not ready to leave so be prepared to hop in as soon as your driver arrives. You can only get picked up on the outer island curbside (Blue Curb).
From SNA
Once you accept an Uber or select trip request, head to the Departures Level. The pickup locations at the airport are located on Level 3 of each terminal's designated parking structure. You can meet riders at: Parking Structure A2, near the Level 3 elevators, for Terminal A.
Billing
When logging into your Uber account to request a ride, Novacoasters should click on the payment type under the car selections. Select Business and Novacoast to ensure ride is billed properly.
Transportation FROM the Hyatt Regency Long Beach TO the airport
Transportation to the airport will be arranged with private shuttle service on Saturday, January 11th.
DO NOT take an Uber on your own. Your shuttle time will be given to you at the Welcome Desk and emailed to you.
